Open Position Welder

Main Duties

Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand. Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs. Field install welds, metal sheeting and other parts.

Skills:

• Knowledge of best practices and safety procedures
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Current and valid certification a plus
• Experience working with power tools
• 2+ years’ welder experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Follow setup instructions when setting up welders and follow general operator instructions when operating machines
• Ability to set up workstation and utilize weld fixturing
• Check fixture according to master part or blueprint
• Ability to weld components at or above standard production rate
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in awkward positions
• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to work shifts scheduled to include overtime and weekends
